The Founder

Meet , the visionary behind the International Institute for French Language (IIFL).

Born and raised in the culturally rich island of Mauritius, Weshna grew up speaking four languages, which sparked her passion for connecting with diverse people. She pursued her first degree at the University of Mauritius before embarking on an exciting journey to Toronto, Canada, where she majored in Business and Strategic Management and later became a licensed immigration law professional.

While helping individuals navigate the complexities of immigration, Weshna witnessed the challenges non-French speakers faced when moving to French-speaking regions. Driven by her love for languages and a deep desire to make a difference, she founded IIFL to bridge this gap. Her mission is to empower individuals with the tools and support they need to master French and thrive in their new environments.
